Ingredients

2 cup cooked plain rice
half cup green beans
half cup green peas
half cup carrots
half cup chopped capsicum
8-10 small pieces of paneer
2 bay leaf
4 tsp of oil
1 big onion - finely chopped
1 small tomato - finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 and half tsp of garam masala
salt to taste

Procedure
  • First cook the plain rice and take it aside. Heat up oil in tawa. If tawa is not available, you can make use of regular frying pan. Add cumin seeds and bay leaves and let them crackle.
  • Add chopped onion and saute it for 3-4 mins. Once onions become tranclusent add chopped tomato. Saute it for 2 mins and add coriander powder, garam masala and chili powder to it. Saute spices till oil started to loose out.
  • Add capsicum, green beans, carrots, green beans and add salt to taste. Saute them for 4-5 mins. Then add piece of paneer and saute them for 2 mins.
  • Add cooked rice and mix well. Fry rice on tawa for 4-5 mins. Garnish with cilantro.
