- Heat up oil in pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and let them crackle. Add chopped onion, green chilies and saute till onion becomes translucent.
- Then add pinch of asafoetida, turmeric powder and chopped tomato. Saute them for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice to it and mix well. Add garam masala and salt to taste. Fry rice on medium heat for 4-5 mins. Finally add lemon juice and garnish with cilantro.
